Avoiding burnout: Wellbeing in a post-lockdown world

Wednesday 24 March 2021, 17:00 18:00 GMT

We know the demands of the legal profession can be challenging, even at the best of times. After a year of working virtually across multiple lockdowns, psychologists are reporting a rise in “pandemic burnout” due to higher levels of stress and anxiety.

Join us for an online talk with two former Eversheds Sutherland lawyers, now working as wellbeing practitioners, and Keith Froud, International Managing Partner, as we look ahead to coming out of lockdown and a new post pandemic normality.

Topics include:

  • mental health issues in the law
  • transition to a “blended office” model – burden or blessing?
  • recognising the signs of stress and practical techniques to manage
  • harnessing our emotions and energy in a positive way
This event is open to all alumni and current firm members. Our aim is to provide a forum so that everyone in the Eversheds Sutherland community can openly discuss mental health and other wellbeing issues. After hearing from our speakers, we will facilitate interactive breakout sessions so that attendees can share experiences and knowledge as to how employers can effectively support wellbeing.
